This post could have been better titled as “The need for understanding the psychology concepts/laws for designing better user experience”. But constraints are good, isn’t it ?
Experience is an interesting concept. In simple terms it’s a process of how your consumers perceive the artificial world you’ve presented to them on their smartphone or a computer or any other product where interaction is needed. These experiences stick around and create certain mental models around that interaction. So it’s interesting to understand what are the different ways in which the brain creates these mental models.
In future blog posts in this category I will be studying and jotting down various concepts that are already available and proven in the different areas of user experience. Most of the concepts will be explained with keeping in mind the mobile app design.
